Gallery Event
The main exhibit we'll be attending is "Solstice at Boreas" at the Boreas gallery in Williamsburg. This is a photography exhibit featuring the work, among others, of Robert Herman, a very cool gentleman I met this past fall, friend of Robin, and prospective NoKidding member. He has agreed to join us so it will be great to hang out with the artist himself! We'll see a few galleries in the area (in addition to Boreas) then get a quick bite to eat afterwards. We have decided on the date Saturday Feb. 5 for this event. We'd probably meet up at the first gallery in the early afternoon, maybe around 1 pm. Further details, times, directions etc. will follow once I have collected RSVP's.

Oscar Party
When: Sunday February 27
Time: Ceremony starts at 8 pm, so plan to get here anytime between 6:30-8pm.
Where: Chez Catelinet, UES
Bring: Yourself and a food or beverage item. I would also greatly appreciate it if a couple of you brought plastic cups/utensils/plates/napkins etc. just to help me out. I will have a couple of bottles of soda, seltzer water, and a dessert item on hand. The rest is up to you guys! Please RSVP by Mon. Feb. 21. Also let me know what you will be bringing.

No Kidding! Convention, June 9-12
A hearty thanks to the planners of the Philadelphia convention, who saw that eight of our members and our former leader-turned-Texan Amanda had an absolute blast!

Games Night

Potluck Lunch

Please note that this event will be filmed for a documentary for the European channel Arte. The filmmakers will be asking willing participants questions on how their decision to remain childfree affects their gender identity.
Barbeque

Day Trip to the Vineyard Harvest, North Fork of Long Island
When: Saturday, September 17
Trip Cost: $48, not including lunch, wine, other purchases (20% discount at the Palmer Vineyard).
Visit Wickham's Fruit Farm (guided tour of the orchard, hayride, apple picking, and optional purchasing of homemade goods), lunch at Greenport Seaport Village, and tour East End Seaport Maritime Museum and the 1920's Carousel. The next installment in our eat-through-the-alphabet dinners, join us for dinner at Tsampa, a Tibetan restaurant with a "cozy and tranquil atmosphere with a dash of the spiritual." Since we will be in the East Village, there is the possibility of seeking dessert afterward at Australian Homemade or at Chikalicious.
